Motorsport CAN-Bus Frame Decoder, DBC Scaling & Lambda/EGT Bit-Timing Reference
Interactive 8-byte CAN frame inspection workbench and DBC scaling reference for the HV Electronics HVLC2 Dual Lambda-to-CAN Module ($555.00 NZD Archive) and HV EGT Type-K CAN Module ($483.00 NZD Archive).
HV Electronics CAN modules transmit on ISO 11898-2 high-speed CAN at 1.0 Mbps using 11-bit standard identifiers (0x1E0 for EGT, 0x1F0 for Dual Lambda). Each 16-bit unsigned Big-Endian word carries a fixed linear multiplier (0.001 Lambda/bit or 0.1 °C/bit), eliminating floating-point rounding drift in ECU reception.
Injector Sizing, BSFC & Bosch 200 Pump Head Calculator
Compute required static injector flow (cc/min) and high-pressure fuel pump capacity across Petrol 98, E85 ethanol, and Methanol using Bernoulli square-root rail pressure scaling.
Reference Hardware: Bosch 200 External Fuel Pump (0 580 254 044, $200.60 NZD Archive) delivers 275 L/h @ 3.0 Bar and 235 L/h @ 5.0 Bar total head.
Two-Point 0–5V Ratiometric MAP Pressure Calibration Generator
Generate a 9-point linear voltage-to-kPa calibration table for Emtron KV/SL, Link G4X, and Haltech NSP ECUs. Default preset matches the HV 4-Bar MAP Sensor (HV-MAP-400-NPT).

ISO 11898-2 Physical Layer Termination & Bit-Timing Rules
High-speed 1.0 Mbps motorsport CAN networks require a twisted pair of 22–24 AWG MIL-W-22759/32 Tefzel wire (twist pitch 35–45 twists per meter) terminated at both physical ends of the trunk with 120 Ω 0.25W 1% metal-film resistors. Measuring resistance between CAN-High and CAN-Low with the ECU and modules powered off must read 60.0 Ω ± 2.0 Ω.
Keep stub drops from the main trunk to the HVLC2 Dual Lambda or HV EGT CAN module shorter than 300 mm to prevent signal reflections at 1 Mbps bit rates.
Applied Telemetry Verification & Deterministic Hashing
Just as 16-bit Big-Endian CAN frames eliminate floating-point drift on the track, high-frequency browser telemetry streams rely on deterministic framing and cryptographic commit-reveal verification to guarantee zero dropped or mutated packets.
