New Zealand Motorsport Track Air Density, Barometric Pressure & ECU Air-Mass Trim Board
Real-time meteorological telemetry across New Zealand’s six active FIA/MSNZ motorsport circuits—computing dry and humid air density (ρ kg/m³), Relative Air Density (RAD %), Density Altitude (m), and baseline Speed-Density / Mass-Airflow ECU fuel and ignition trim corrections.
Relative Air Density (RAD %) expresses ambient track air density relative to the ICAO Standard Atmosphere sea-level reference (1.225 kg/m³ at 15°C and 1013.25 hPa). Every 1.0% drop in RAD reduces naturally aspirated oxygen mass flow by ~1.0% and lowers turbocharger compressor inlet density proportionally.

Pukekohe Park Raceway
Motorsport operations at Pukekohe Park ceased in April 2023. Retained strictly as a historical reference baseline for comparing 2017–2023 Emtron/MoTeC datalogs. Baseline sea-level barometric reference: 1005.6 hPa / 97.8%–101.4% RAD.
Interactive Track-Side Air Density & ECU Trim Calculator
Enter your pit-lane weather station reading (Kestrel / Vaisala) to calculate exact humid air density via Tetens saturation vapour pressure and ideal gas law for dry air + water vapour.
Computed Pit-Lane Atmospheric Correction
Note on Altitude Tracks (Taupō 405m & Highlands 215m): Always verify that your ECU uses a dedicated barometric pressure channel or key-on MAP sampling with an HV 4-Bar MAP Sensor so target boost tables reference absolute manifold pressure (kPa Abs) rather than sea-level gauge pressure.
