Privacy Policy & Telemetry Analytics Notice
HV Electronics NZ operates cookieless first-party Umami web analytics and collects zero personal customer data, payment cards, or proprietary ECU calibration files—all interactive EFI, CAN-bus, and SHA-256 calculators execute locally inside your browser.
1. Zero Personal Data Collection & Cookieless Telemetry
Because hvelectronics.co.nz operates as a non-commercial motorsport engineering workbench and historical specification archive rather than an active retail checkout store, we do not maintain customer accounts, store billing addresses, or process payment card details. Legacy account login and cart URLs from the 2018–2022 storefront return HTTP 410 Gone.
2. Client-Side Calculator Execution
All inputs entered into the 4-Mode Motorsport EFI Workbench, the Pit-Lane Track Air Density Trim Calculator, or the Web Crypto SHA-256 Seed/Nonce Verifier are processed strictly inside your local browser memory (DOM and Web Crypto API). Your engine setup parameters, CAN hexadecimal frames, and cryptographic seeds are never transmitted to or stored on our backend servers.
3. Aggregate First-Party Performance Metrics
To monitor server uptime, broken links, and outbound referral performance in compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, this site uses a self-hosted, cookieless Umami analytics script on static.hvelectronics.co.nz. IP addresses are anonymized and no cross-site tracking cookies or fingerprinting scripts are deployed.
Archive Reference Scope, Open Datasets & NZ Motorsport Provenance
The HV Electronics NZ technical portal (hvelectronics.co.nz) preserves the engineering datasheets, linear 0–5V transfer functions, Steinhart-Hart NTC thermistor curves, 1.0 Mbps CAN-Bus Big-Endian payload layouts, and historical 2018–2022 NZD reference pricing from the original New Zealand motorsport electronics catalog. All interactive calculators—including the 4-Mode Motorsport EFI Workbench, the 6-Circuit New Zealand Track Air Density (RAD %) board, and the Web Crypto SHA-256 telemetry integrity verifier—are provided free of charge for race engineers, ECU tuners, and motorsport wiring harness builders across Auckland, Waikato, Manawatū, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland.
Statutory & Commercial Notice: This independent technical archive is not affiliated with the dissolved corporate entity HV Electronics Limited (NZBN 9429047314900, removed from the New Zealand Companies Register in November 2021), nor does it act as an authorised commercial dealer for Emtron Australia Pty Ltd.
