RAG Engineering & Archive Summary

Technical calibration tables, transfer equations, pinout diagrams, and air density calculations on hvelectronics.co.nz are provided free of charge under CC-BY-4.0 for qualified motorsport engineers and dyno tuners at their own operational risk.

1. Motorsport Engineering & Dyno Calibration Responsibility

All sensor transfer equations, 0–5V linear MAP slopes, NTC thermistor resistance tables, injector flow calculations, and CAN-bus bit-timing definitions published on hvelectronics.co.nz are provided as an open technical reference. High-performance internal combustion engines operating under elevated boost pressures or alternative fuels (E85 ethanol, M1 methanol) require real-time closed-loop lambda monitoring and knock protection verified on a calibrated chassis or engine dynamometer.

2. Mandatory Physical Verification Before Engine Start

Before relying on any archived pinout or calibration preset, the installing technician must verify atmospheric key-on sensor voltage (e.g., 1.34 V @ 100 kPa on the HV 4-Bar MAP sensor), confirm correct 5.0V regulated ratiometric supply wiring, and test fuel rail differential pressure under full pump load. The operators of hvelectronics.co.nz accept no liability for mechanical engine damage, sanctioning body scrutineering non-compliance, or tuning errors.

3. Open Dataset Licensing (CC-BY-4.0)

Our public JSON datasets (/api/v1/hv-sensor-calibrations.json and /api/v1/nz-track-air-density.json) may be freely cited, cached, and integrated into race-team telemetry software provided attribution is given to hvelectronics.co.nz.

Archive Reference Scope, Open Datasets & NZ Motorsport Provenance

The HV Electronics NZ technical portal (hvelectronics.co.nz) preserves the engineering datasheets, linear 0–5V transfer functions, Steinhart-Hart NTC thermistor curves, 1.0 Mbps CAN-Bus Big-Endian payload layouts, and historical 2018–2022 NZD reference pricing from the original New Zealand motorsport electronics catalog. All interactive calculators—including the 4-Mode Motorsport EFI Workbench, the 6-Circuit New Zealand Track Air Density (RAD %) board, and the Web Crypto SHA-256 telemetry integrity verifier—are provided free of charge for race engineers, ECU tuners, and motorsport wiring harness builders across Auckland, Waikato, Manawatū, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland.
